3 months

I am trying so hard to keep updated on this blog. It gets tough because he learns so much each month and I lack the time to write it all down. Horrible, isn't it? Obviously by the title, Micah is now three months old. He talks ALL the time! It's the cutest thing! He spent his first full night in his room last night... (6-24-10) It wasn't as hard on me as I thought it would be. I am tired but it wasn't so bad. Luckily for me, Rico was home and took the 4:30 feeding this morning. Micah went to bed at 8:30pm last night, He got up at 11:00pm, then again at 2:00am and at 4:30am. When he sleeps in the bassinet near me, he usually sleeps a little longer in between. I think he's still getting used to the crib.

Micah is growing like a weed! He's getting so long! And he's being so good! We went to Walmart yesterday and he never even cried! He just talked the whole time from his stroller! I am so proud of my little boy. We also went "swimming" for the first time yesterday! We sat in this little pool looking thing that had water that squirts up out of these little holes. He seemed to like it. He didn't really react that much. It was like a 100 degrees! So, we didn't stay in it for long. lol. Micah now recognizes his name. I guess I can't tell you for sure if it's the tone of voice that we use when we say his name or if he actually knows that Micah is his name but it's the cutest thing. He looks up and smiles at us. I promise you, he's my heart and soul!

Well today is now Thursday, July 1st! Micah will not sit back anymore. We need to get him a bumbo so he can learn to sit up but we haven't done that yet. He also doesn't like to sit back in the car seat when we get somewhere. He wants to be in the baby carrier. He looks and explores where we're going. I think he also gets really hot in the carseat/stroller system that we have. It's very well padded and he sweats from being in it. Micah sucks on his hand all the time and just talks and talks! It's so precious! Rico told Micah that he's the only thing that can make mommy happy. That's not necessarily true but he does make mommy very happy! Today he woke up at 5:30 and he just smiled at me. 5:30 is early! But my boy makes it worthwhile! Anyway, we're now getting ready for July 4th! Rico's birthday! I will be blogging again soon!
