Micah is 19 months

Micah is NINETEEN Months!

Micah is now running and tearing up things as fast as I type this blog... I cannot believe that it is now November 2011! Where has the time gone? Days go by, then weeks, then months! It's been almost 3 months since I last updated this blog! Micah got his first hair cut in September! My little man no longer looks so little! (tear)

Soon Micah's second Halloween rolled around the corner. We were sick however and only got to enjoy the Saturday before Halloween. This is our little boxer!

Micah's growing and learning so much. He does a dance that looks similar to "the running man" all the time. We like to kill zombies (Call of Duty:Black Ops) and when we die in the game, he runs to the tv and does his "Yo Gabba" (the running man) dance. He really is my pride and joy.

Micah is 16 1/2 months.

I seriously can't keep up with this blog! As I sit here to type this, my child is pulling out all of his balls from his ball pit and throwing it across my living room, ignoring 'My Baby Can Read' dvd, putting on his Daddy's doo rag, got the fish net from behind the fish tank, and is banging that fish net all over the floor! What I really need to be doing is sweeping this floor that he's thrown toys and food all over, mopping it and putting up the four loads of laundry I did yesterday! If I posted a picture of what my living room looked like right now, you'd think I never cleaned and that a tornado just passed through it. REALLY!
This past month he's had his first visit to the dentist. (No cavities! YAY!), he's learned the words; apple, thank you, you're welcome, and please, and can eat a popsicle all on his own. What milestones! I feel as if my head is spinning and won't stop! Anyway, Micah is growing and learning things so quickly! He has a new tricycle that he is always trying to pedal on. (He can't reach it all the way yet) Micah helps me put groceries on the counter to be paid for. He helps me to push his high chair where it needs to be. He's sooo helpful or at least he tries to be! He's becoming a boy and isn't my baby anymore! He really is growing up way too fast. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be his mother.

I have been horrible with keeping up with this blog lately. But in my defense, it is because Micah Ly is doing too much! Micah is now 15 1/2 months and the next time I blink he will be 1 1/2 years old and then 2 and then 13! lol. I am just amazed at how fast time is flying by. I think I start a blog every time I get sentimental about his growing up. Micah can get up the stairs in less than a minute and now, he can also get downstairs too! Micah babbles constantly! We went to baby Addison's baby shower yesterday and Micah went around and started yelling at everyone and pointing his finger at them! Oh my goodness! I had to explain to all the ladies that when I am explaining to Micah NOT to do something, I point at it and tell him no, we do not touch that because of.. you know, whatever reason he's not supposed to and now he goes around yelling (because he just loves to yell) and now he points his finger at you! My best friend's mother in law said he looks like he will become a preacher! I died laughing. That was hilarious! 
I just stopped to look at Micah to make sure he wasn't into something and he's seriously just twirling around.
Anyway, he's getting more teeth now.. He's getting his vampire teeth... I don't know the technical term for that (obviously) and he has been in so much pain! He was just screaming randomly  My poor baby! He still likes to walk backwards and our neighbor gave him a tent with the little tunnels in it and he LOVES it! My child is also now black in color from being outside so much! If  you leave the door lingering for two seconds, he will be outside! He seems to love water and that makes me super happy because his father does not. When I was watering our lawn the other day, Micah got in between the water hose and the grass and got soaking wet! 
I feel completely awful right now at the lack of details I have on what he's doing nowadays. He's just so big! I guess that's what I get for not updating this sooner. But here are pictures from his 1 year old shoot. (It was done at 14 1/2 months however)

Micah's first plane ride!

This month we went on a mini vacay to New York to see Rico's sister, Niema's wedding! Might I say that it was GORGEOUS! Micah did very well on the plane ride due to 'Yo Gabba Gabba' DVD! Thank the LORD for it! Anyway, My little Micah is getting sooo big now! He runs! And he CLIMBS ON EVERYTHING! He can say 'mama' and 'Micah' now. I am sooo proud! And he sings the tune to the 'ABC' song! He LOVES to play! And he is GORGEOUS! I LOVE my Micah Ly! He now eats big boy foods all the time and loves it. He's not fighting me to stop feeding him anymore. He's just so wonderful! He also BITES now! What in the world?? He'll bite anything that stays still for a little while... If my face is near his mouth he will be going for my lips, nose or cheeks! What a weird kid! But he's mine and he's awesome! He sings babble now... meaning he is singing but we have no idea what in the world he's saying. He beats on everything like it's a drum! I think we have a drummer on our hands! And did I mention in my last post how he loves to just throw things down on the ground??
This past week we tried to take away his pacifier... It didn't work out too well... Rico gave in because poor little Micah just was sooo cranky and pitiful from not being able to nap... We'll try again soon... It's much, MUCH harder than I ever thought! Please PRAY for us! Anyway, He's jumping, smiling and laughing right now... Can't stay on here because I am about to jump him! HAHA! More to come soon!

Micah is 13 months and WALKING!

Micah is 13 months old!

Man, oh man... Time is flying by even faster than before... Micah is now walking! He likes to take pots and pans and mixing bowls from the kitchen and bring them into the living room... It seems that he likes to explore them while watching television! Is this baby boy smart or what?? Micah is soo big! It's so crazy because I really do remember holding him in one arm! He's so big now! He's almost his cousin Jenny and Abby's height! Jenny will turn 2 on June 6th I believe and Abby just turned 3 years old! It's still really cute because his cousin, Mia, who is now 5 years old, still loves to try and hold him! I shake my head.. but I am just in complete awe that my babies are getting so big! Micah has quite the personality.. It seems to be a 'dominating" type personality.. He loves attention which I've noted many times before, but he seems to command it! When he wants you to look at him, he'll yell at you... If he still cannot get your attention, he actually puts his sweet little face in your face and gives you the biggest, most precious smile. How can you ignore that?

This past month we took Micah on his first beach trip. He LOVED it! We went out to the beach and let him put his feet in the sand... He experienced his first time in a pool and in the jacuzzi and in the lazy river (with Mom of course)! The jacuzzi seemed to be Micah's all time favorite. We were very careful as he stayed in my lap. His face showed it all! He made it look heavenly and all we could do was laugh.. It's so precious, finding out his likes and dislikes. He is an amazing little man! 

Micah seems to be growing and learning more and more everyday! It seems to be at a  super-sonic speed! He loves books and loves to 'help' me turn pages.. He loves to explore anything that looks new and loves to go outside! He's playing with one of his toys as I write this! We have taken him to the park and to McDonald's playhouse.. He's enjoying playing with his cousins more and more everyday as well! Here are more pics from the last couple of months! I love my baby and I hope you enjoy seeing him grow. I will post a new born pic of him as well.. It's so crazy to see how much he has changed!
